Opening size is only the start
Separate opening dimensions, door-panel dimensions and installation clearance.
Measure the opening
Record the finished opening width and height, the measurement unit and whether finishes are complete. Estimates are useful for early discussion, but are not production dimensions.
Check the surrounding space
Record headroom, side room, internal depth, obstructions and the proposed operator position. Have the final configuration and dimensions checked by the project installer before production.
